Educating U4 Life, CDC is a 501 C-3 tax exempt public charity providing Community- based educational programs;  Tutorial services to grades K-12, and Adult GED & Financial Literacy programs to families in Detroit, Michigan.

  

                                              MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to assist children, and their families to improve their educational skills; obtain their General Education Degree (GED); to develop Life Skills; and to obtain Financial Literacy which will allow them to become an asset to their neighborhood, city, state and the world.

Our goal at Educating U4 Life is to strengthen families through activities such as life skills, enrichment programs, educational seminars, and tutoring programs that provide academic social and life skills enrichment opportunities.                                                        Macy’s helps local charity raise funds and to provide GED Prep classes, Financial Literacy,

                                                                                         K-12 Tutoring and Job Skills Training to families.

 

 

Detroit, MI. July 25, 2014 Macy’s and Educating U4 Life, CDC invite customers to participate in Macy’s ninth annual national “Shop For A Cause” charity shopping event on August 23, 2014. Macy’s “Shop For A Cause” is a unique one-day-only shopping event created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts, and has helped raise more than $44 million for charities across the country since 2006. Customers can participate in this year’s event by purchasing shopping passes from Educating U4 Life, CDC now. 

 “Macy’s is committed to giving back, both nationally and to our local communities,” said Martine Reardon, Macy’s chief marketing officer. “For the last eight years, Macy’s ‘Shop For A Cause’ program has provided our customers and associates a unique opportunity to show their support and give back to their local community organizations, while also enjoying great savings at Macy’s.”

 Macy’s has provided Educating U4 Life, CDC with shopping passes to sell for $5 each. Educating U4 Life, CDC, will keep 100 percent of every shopping pass it sells. The more shopping passes sold, the more money Educating U4 Life, CDC will raise!


By purchasing a shopping pass from Educating U4 Life, CDC customers support Education while enjoying a day of spectacular discounts, entertainment and special events at Macy’s. Pass holders will receive special discounts on most regular, sale and clearance purchases all day, but some exclusions apply.
